When it comes to my photography, Mostly I'll have ideas as to what sort of image and look I want for the photograph. Sometimes I don't even expect to get a photo, it wasn't my intention to get one on that day but something just appears or I pass something and I can't help myself I just have to snap away, and to be honest some of those types of photographs are some of the best ones I have taken. However, sometimes I want to take some new pictures but I don't know what type of photo I want. This happens quite regularly, whether that's landscape photograph or a photo-shoot. In these kinds of situations I look for inspiration. I'll look through books and look at the photograph in there and I'll go out and do my own version of them, once I have an image in my mind I'll go and get that exact image.
So the whole point of this post is to give a little advise I suppose, to give you a little insight as to what I do- take inspiration from other photographs, DON'T copy just gain inspiration and take little bits from the photographs.
I haven't posted any of my photography on my blog yet so you don't really know what it's like and whether you like it or not but don't worry it will be coming very soon!
